The Lodhi Garden is one of the historic gardens of Delhi. It is located next to the International Center of India, which is only 3 kilometers from Humayun's tomb. The garden of Lodhi houses the tombs of the rulers of Sayyid and Lodhi.
The garden of Lodhi was established between the 15th and 16th centuries by the rulers Sayyid and Lodhi. The garden is very well maintained and still has some historical monuments that are an added attraction for tourists.
The garden of Lodhi in Delhi has been redesigned by JA Stein and Garrett Eckbo in 1968 and that is how it was formed. In the Lodhi garden, you should visit the tombs of Muhammad Shah, the third leader of the Sayyid dynasty and Sikandar Lodhi.
There is a Bara Gumbad and Sheesh Gumbad in the center of Lodhi Garden in Delhi that speak of the architectural glory of that era. The first consists of a large rubber dome, a three-domed mosque and a residence that surrounds a central courtyard that contains the remains of a water tank and, in front of this Bara Gumbad, is the Sheesh Gumbad, which consists of the remains of an unknown family.
